Note that we use a clinical dose of Chromium GTF in Pounds and Inches Drops, 500 mcg twice per day. So the same doses that were used in the studies below are included in Pounds and Inches Drops:

Chromium GTF combines chromium and niacin into a single mineral compound. Five clinical studies show that it can be used to:

Q. Any tips to lose more weight while doing the 1200 calorie plan?
A. First, make sure you are being strict on 1200 and drinking lots of water. Or, try the 800 calorie diet for one week, and see how you feel. You should start dropping weight, and have enough energy if you aren't exercising. The pounds should start dropping off if you convert to the 800.

Q. What's new in the formula?
A. What's new is that it now contains Chromium GTF, a clinically researched ingredient that helps with blood sugar and cravings. Hope you love it!

Q. Now that Pounds and Inches Drops contain the new ingredients Chromium GTF, can it still be taken minus the Low-Calorie Diet, and for how long? 
 It can be taken on a continuous basis. Some customers find that cycling 3 months on - 1 month off yields improved results but every customer's situation will be different.
But Pounds and inches drops can be taken without the diet. Many people do. Jimmy Duggan said his blood pressure is controlled by the drops, and he feels other health benefits. Others have reported similar things.

Q. How long do you need to stay off of the product before you can start using it again? 
 Because our product does not affect or manipulate hormones, a new round can be started right away. Also, you can stay continuously on these drops for up to 16 weeks in a single phase. You can do cycles of the protocol + drops for as long as needed.

As long as you are feeling good, losing weight, and your health is good carry on as long as you want to, but not for more than 4 months. If you want to take a break you can, and just follow the transition phase instructions in the guide, then start up whenever you are ready to again.

Q. Are you supposed to do a loading phase and will it affect my weight loss if I still do it?
A. No need for loading phase with these drops! It could set you back because it just adds weight. We recommend not doing it.

Q. Is substituting lunch and dinner meals with the breakfast meal OK?
Yes you can! As long as you don't exceed the calorie count. Breakfast, lunch and dinner choices are purely according to most people's tastes, not according to caloric or nutritional advantages if that makes sense. So yes, you can mix and match.

Q. What can be a replacement for egg or any dairy product for breakfast?
A. A non-dairy protein drink is a great option or any other protein-rich foods that you are able to eat, as long as you stay in the same caloric guidelines as the breakfast we have outlined.

Q. When doing a 1200 calorie diet can you follow the 800 calorie plan and do a veggie or fruit or a combination of fruit and veggie smoothie to make up the other 400 calories? 
Yes, but with this important change, do not make it a fruit smoothie, rather make it a protein smoothie. The veggies are OK, and protein powder, but the fruit is high in sugar and will slow your weight loss. In other words, making up the 400 calories should be mostly in proteins or fats, but not sugars.

Q. Is bone broth allowed as a meal?
 A lot of dieters had them and it helped with their hunger pangs. Just make sure that nothing is there that is not allowed on this protocol. 

Q. Is sugar-free protein powder allowed for a protein drink used with coconut unsweetened milk?
A. Protein powders are allowed, especially sugar-free ones, but unsweetened coconut milk is not tested for this diet plan. But I heard it is allowed to be used moderately on keto diet though.

Q. Can MCT oil be used in green tea?
A. MCT oil is full of health benefits, but any form of oil is not allowed in the first phase of this diet plan. Supplements that are oil-based may have been tried by many dieters and found that it did not affect their weight loss at all. But it is best to note that everyone will have different experiences. Results really vary from person to person. I would highly suggest you stay away from oil-based products for now. On the other hand, you are free to test them at your own risk. 👍 

Q. Are there substitutions allowed for those who can't eat dairy/whey products like skim milk, yogurt, etc?
A. Some people have substituted skim milk to unsweetened almond milk. It does not contain dairy so that should solve that issue if you are willing to try. If you are using it for coffee or cereal that are on the approved food list, just follow the recommended portion. Test the waters and see how your body will react from it. Note that unsweetened almond was not tested for this diet plan. But based on some people's experiences, it did not affect their weight loss goals.

Q. CAN I use the drops WITH the Keto Diet for faster results or if it would be counter-productive?
A. The drops are not exclusive to any diet per se. But our modernized diet plan is what we recommend because it has been studied, tested, by our in house doctor. Plus the overwhelming feedback of those that reached their weight loss goals using our Pounds and Inches Drops in conjunction with the low-calorie diet plan Dr. Robbins' had created. 

Just like the keto diet where your body goes into ketosis when you eliminate carbs from your diet, the Pounds and Inches drops also work to make the stored fat available for burning. It contains amino acids and other ingredients that are known to aid in weight loss. Plus the recently added ingredient which is the Chromium GTF aids not just in weight loss, but also in maintaining blood sugar, and cholesterol. 

Everybody has a different metabolism, chances are if your body is telling you Keto would work best you are probably right! 

Q. If I move to a 1200 calorie diet can I go beyond 4 months? 
A. Many people go long term using a reasonable amount of calories in conjunction with the Pounds and Inches Drops. But the key to determining your long term daily calorie intake has a lot to do with your weight and activity level. It would be inappropriate for us to give this specific health advice without a much better understanding of you personally and your whole health picture.

We recommend you visit a local expert about this. Or one method to use is an Omron scale, which will take your weight and some metabolic data, and determine your minimum necessary caloric intake.

Q. Do I need to work out with this?

A. While you are taking the drops and diet (provided through an instantly downloadable PDF when you purchase) you should either not exercise, or keep it light like walking, and yoga, etc. Then once you have lost weight, you can start more intense exercising during the transition phase.

Q. What should I do when hunger strikes?
A. If you are on the 800 calorie plan and hunger pains are your main issue, in addition to switching to the 1200 route, try these tricks as well:

1. If hungry, take additional drops. 10 drops will often ease the hunger pains.

2. You can always cheat with an apple. Apples are filling, low calorie, and has low glycemic index.

3. Make sure you are drinking plenty of water! Water is filling as well, and important while on a diet.

Q. When should I take the drops?
We are recommending 14 drops twice per day. The fact is, you can break them up and do 3 times per day, as long as you get the required dosage per day, preferably before meals. But twice per day, 14 at a time, is the most convenient and easiest for people usually.

Q. Does it contain the HCG hormone?
A. Happily no. The HCG hormone has a very short life-span, less than a month, so many people who used it straight with the Dr. Simeons protocol ended up with poor results, and hormone imbalances.

All HCG drops style products have evolved into Amino Acid-based (hormones are made of amino acids) which have all the potency of the old HCG hormone, but none of the downsides. Also, we have an 800 calorie protocol to replace the 500 calories. 500 calories simply don't contain enough protein to maintain muscle mass. So, these drops, along with an 800 calorie regimen, are more effective, and safer, than the old school straight HCG hormone types of products.

Q. Do you still sell HCG drop?
A. Pounds and Inches Drops are often referred to as "hcg drops" even though synthetic HCG diet products have replaced drops with real HCG in them since about 2011, when serious problems were discovered with actual HCG, including the following:

-It has a short lifespan, just 2-3 weeks, so if put in a bottle by the time somebody received it it was already bad.

-It caused side effects such as hormone imbalances, cramps, and headaches, even loss of hair

-It is illegal to sell without a prescription

So most of what is commonly referred to as "hcg drops" are synthetic solutions designed to do the same thing, without the downsides. That's what Pounds and Inches Drops are. It's the same with all products you find online that might still be referred to as "hcg drops," they act like HCG, but are synthetic, and legal to sell. None of them actually contain the HCG hormone anymore, for the reasons cited earlier.

Q. What are the ingredients of Pounds and Inches Drops?
 These ingredients are designed to provide all of the weight loss benefits of the old HCG diet, but without the hormone imbalances or other side effects (cramps, headaches, and hair loss being the main ones). So rather than a hormone product, this formulation is amino acid based (hormones are made of amino acids). So all the weight loss, no downsides! That being said, here is the formulation:

Q. How long does 1 bottle last?
 If you take as directed, 14 drops twice per day, it lasts 21 days. Some people continue to take Pounds and Inches Drops after the diet is over because it helps them keep their appetite under control, and gives them energy. 

Q. How many ml is 14 drops?
 1 ml

Q. Were there any preservatives in Pounds and Inches Drops? 
 There is no MSG or other preservatives in the product, all ingredients are natural.

Q. Why is Pounds and Inches Drops not allowed to take by people over 50?
A. The reason for this statement is because it is more likely that people over 50 have health problems, and a low-calorie diet may aggravate those. There are always exceptions. So, with the permission of your doctor, there is no reason why you can't have success with this, and you certainly won't be the first person over 50 who has!

Frankly, the only reason we state that is because people over the age of 50 have a higher risk of having problems when they try a new exercise or diet regimen. There is no physiological reason per se, but people over 50 should be more careful, and have higher chance of having existing medical conditions. If you are in generally good health and have consulted with your health care provider about it, there is no reason you can't proceed.

Q. Are there any stimulants in the drops? 
A. There are no artificial stimulants like caffeine etc. It is an all-natural product.

Q. Is there any downside to taking more Pounds and Inches drops than advertised?
A. We recommend 1,000 mcg as the upper limit. Studies have been performed in this range and it has been proven safe and effective. There are no human studies for intakes above 1,000 mcg that we are aware of. There are concerns that taking excess Chromium could cause it to accumulate in the liver and cause stress. So I would recommend keeping it in the 500-1000 range where studies show it to be safe and effective. 

Q. Stalled weight loss on 800 calorie protocol. How do I get back to losing weight?

A. The product is formulated to help you have more energy, decrease appetite, and lose weight from the right places while on a low-calorie diet. So many of our customers who have tried low-calorie diets tell us it's much more effective with the drops than without them. And we would love for you to have that experience too! 
So, before you give up on it, a couple of questions you need to address:

1. How long have you been doing this? The first 7-10 days are often an adjustment phase, and after that, your body is more used to the new diet and drops, and less hungry, and more comfortable.
2. There is a 1200 calorie option that may be better for you? Try that one before throwing in the towel.

Q. Can I take other weight loss products while on Pounds and Inches Drops?
A. Having no expertise in other products, we highly recommend checking with your health care provider. That being said, Pounds and Inches Drops have no known contra-indications with any other supplement or drug.

Q. I am doing 1200 because 800 calorie protocol would be a little difficult. What can I do to lose weight fast?
A. This is the best advice we can give:

1. Continue on 1200, being very strict on the diet.

2. Drink plenty of water. Keep track and make sure you get at least 8 glasses per day.

3. Prepare to do this for a longer duration, you can stay on a 1200 calorie diet for up to 16 weeks according to Web MD, a very reputable online source. And with our drops, this is much easier as it will keep your energy up, appetite down, and ensure you lose the "brown" fat.

Will this plan work for you at 1200 calories? It is simply a reality that it will take longer to drop the weight. And don't worry that week one hasn't met your expectations. We hear this often, but whenever anybody carries on for the longer term they always drop the weight they wish to. It just comes a little bit slower with the 1200 calorie diet, but will 
still be more rapid than any other weight loss method out there!

Q. Would Pounds and Inches Drops show an increase in the TSH values? 
A. Your health is our greatest priority, so we need to answer carefully without giving medical advice, etc.

Since we started selling these drops in 2010 (with formulation upgrades along the way, but essentially the same formulation) nobody has said it affects their TSH values. So it seems from anecdotal evidence that it is highly unlikely that these would cause the increase.

That being said, please take them to your medical practitioner, and show them the ingredients, and if they feel any of the ingredients could cause that then go with their expert advice!

Q. I thought the drops suppose to come with a book inside the box, and not something that I have to print out of my computer?
