Description

Eat Anything contains an "all star cast" of enzymes, prebiotics, and probiotics.

Eat Anything Enzymes are specially designed to aid the stomach in digestion of all the basic sugars: fructose, glucose, and galactose.

It provides the natural enzymes, prebiotics, and probiotics a person needs to properly process foods.

Fructose malabsorption causes disconcerting pain after eating foods high in fructose, this is due to a lack of necessary enzymes to process it.  Most people don't realize just how many foods contain fructose, which may be a primary cause of digestive problems, which Eat Anything is designed to aid in.

APLC contains amylase, protease, lipase, and cellulase, these may aid in digestion of carbohydrates, protein, fats, fiber and plant cellulose.

The Xylose Isomerase converts the fructose from food to glucose. Glucose can be utilized easily by the body and is absorbed promptly as a primary nutrient.

Alpha galactosidase facilitates digestion of legumes. This allows the body to breakdown the fiber, protein and carbohydrate from these nutritious foods without excess gas or bloating.

Lacto-Wise® from Sabinsa is a Shelf Stable Probiotic and Natural Soluble Fiber (Prebiotic).  It provides beneficial human intestinal microorganisms and a source of dietary fiber for promoting gastrointestinal health.

APLC Digestive Enzyme Blend is a complex containing Amylase, Protease, Lipase, and Cellulase.
Amylase is an enzyme that helps digest carbohydrates.
Protease is an enzyme that helps digest protein.
Lipase is an enzyme that helps digest fats.
Cellulase is an enzyme that helps digest fiber and plant cellulose.

All Natural ingredients, vegan, non GMO, produced in a GMP Certified Facility in the USA.

FAQ'S
Q. How will this benefit both body & gut?

A. Eat Anything Rx has digestive enzymes that break down all types of foods, protein, lipid, carbohydrates, starches, lactose, etc. down into their monomeric subunits. This makes it so the body can properly process and extract nutrients from food. Many people with digestion and gut health have issues where their bodies do not create the necessary enzymes to break down these foods, so Eat Anything Rx has been a game-changer for them.

Q. Can kids take this and if so what is the age limit?

A. Generally, we only recommend children age four and above may take Eat Anything Rx. If unable to swallow capsule just open the capsule and sprinkle the enzymes over food. It has a very mild taste, so it can be added to juice or food, children probably won't taste it at all.

However, it's best to consult with your pediatrician on a more specific protocol.

Q. Is the vegetable cellulose from wheat or barley?

A. The vegetarian capsule used in Eat Anything Rx is made up of cellulose, an important structural component in plants. To be more specific, the main ingredient of the vegetarian capsule is hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC). It is not extracted from any wheat or barley plant materials. So Eat Anything Rx is glutenfree.

Q. What's the best way or optimal time to take Eat Anything Rx, before or after a meal?

A. We recommend taking 1 to 2 capsules it 15-20 minutes before eating a meal or as directed by your healthcare provider. However, if you forget you can also take it during a meal and it will still help. If you don't like swallowing pills you can also break the capsule open over a drink of your choice, stir it in and take it that way (it is tasteless).

Q. Is there vegetable oil?

A. No Vegetable Oil is used in this product.

Q. Does this work for both men and women?

A. Yes, it does! We have just as many men as women use this product.

Q.  Any side effects taking more than recommended?

A. We have many people who take 6 per day and we have never had anybody complain of side effects. People do that, especially if they have fructose malabsorption.  The ingredients of Eat Anything Rx are all-natural prebiotics, probiotics, and enzymes, your body accepts them as natural ingredients and knows what to do with them, so there is no cause for concern! Many of our customers get to know over time which meals only require one capsule. So you can experiment with one or two capsules in order to keep the cost down.

Our testing has shown the enzymes will stay active for 2-4 hours depending on the person and how active their digestive system is.

Q. Where do you manufacture your products?

A. We are the formulators of all the Dirobi brand products and own all of the formulations.
We then have them manufactured by contract manufacturers, one of which is local to
us right here in Utah, and another is in southern California. Both are GMP certified
facilities and manufacture our products to extremely high standards.

This is the same way most very large companies have their products made, for example
Costco does not make their products in their own supplement facility, they use contract
manufacturers to make their Kirkland brand formulations, and they distribute them.

We have been manufacturing products since 2009, and have used various contract
manufacturers over the years and the ones we have now are the very best we have
ever used, and we keep their info as a trade secret, mostly to protect our brands
from competitors.

Q. How many pills per day or per meal to take, especially if taking it along with a couple of Lactaid pills?

A. 1. Eat Anything Rx is a high end prebiotic, probiotic, enzyme supplement that can be
taken morning and night on days when you don’t eat trigger meals. So if you know
you aren’t going to eat something that causes problems, take one pill first thing
in the morning, with or without food, and another around dinner time, 20 minutes
before meals if possible.

2. For meals that you know will trigger discomfort, try one Eat Anything Rx without
the Lactaid pills. Eat Anything Rx contains lactate digestive enzyme, so you may not
need the other pills.

If one pill is sufficient, then you continue taking one pill 20 minutes before any
meal that concerns you.

3. If one doesn’t do the job, take two 20 minutes before eating.

Over time, our customers find a happy place where they know from experience when
to take one, when to take 2, and when they are going to eat in such a way that one
in the morning and one at night is sufficient for maintenance.

This answer may seem vague, but it’s simply the reality of the digestive
system and the uniqueness of the millions of people on the planet that there is no
“one size fits all” solution to digestion, and experimentation is called for.

Through personal experimentation, find the exact usage that helps and improves your health!

Q. Is the extreme heat/cold going to affect the potency?

A. The cold won't affect the potency of it, and as far as heat goes for future reference, as long as it doesn't go over 120 degrees Fahrenheit for over 8 hours it will be fine as well!

Q. About how long do the enzymes stay in the stomach before being reabsorbed? For about how long is one dose effective?

A. Our testing has shown the enzymes will stay active for 2-4 hours depending on the person and how active their digestive system is.  If someone is extremely sensitive to fructose, I would recommend they take one capsule with each meal that contains fructose as the Xylose Enzyme needs to be in the stomach with the fructose to properly convert to glucose. You can open a capsule and take a half dose if you know you only need a small amount of enzymes. But it is best practice to take the capsule at the beginning of the meal and to take one with each serving of fructose.

Q. Is there dairy, wheat, eggs, peanuts that were used in this product?

A. No. No dairy, wheat, eggs, or peanuts are used in this formulation.

Q. Is there any yeast in Eat Anything Rx?

A. Some of the Enzymes are produced from Aspergillus Niger (a common mold). During production the enzymes are extracted from the Aspergillus Niger. We do not have any reports of Allergen concerns with these enzyme extracts.

Q. Is the magnesium stearate made from animal products?

A. No. It is from Palm oil extract.

Q. Is Eat Anything Rx vegan?

A. Yes, all-Natural ingredients, vegan, non-GMO, produced in a GMP Certified Facility in the USA.

Q. Is this gluten and soy-free?

A. Eat Anything Rx DOES NOT contain any gluten, preservative, soy, sugar alcohols.

Q. What are the sources of the ingredients?

A. We do not share the sources of our products as it's proprietary information, but that MBI Nutraceuticals, a GMP contract manufacturer, is the company that bottles and labels the Eat Anything Rx product. They are located at Lindon, Utah.

Q. Why it seems that Dirobi is literally the only supplement supplier that sells a Digestive Enzyme with xylose isomerase ingredient in it?

A. It could because this is a small niche market as the number of people that suffer from Fructose malabsorption is fairly low. It is a powerful product that helps people that suffer from a specific deficiency along with helping all people to digest food better.

In addition, Xylose Isomerase is extremely expensive and has to be ordered in fairly large quantities, making it inconvenient for most supplement companies to deal in as there are lower profit margins and longer lead times to get the product.

Because we specialize in this area, we have been able to work with these restrictions and make it work for us and our customers.

Q. What is the dose for children?

A. Children can usually use a half dose by opening the capsule and pouring out half a capsule on a bite of food. We do not recommend it for children under 4, and even then advise consulting with your doctor or pediatrician before giving to anybody under the age of 18.

Q. Is this safe on FODMAP diet?

A. From our research, there should be no negative effects of taking Eat Anything Rx while on a FODMAP diet. It should be able to help to break down food more completely, help populate healthy bacteria, and improve overall digestive health.

Q. What is the shelf life of Eat Anything Rx?

A. We are very confident this product will have at least a 24-month shelf life but in reality, the enzyme activity will be good for 4-5 years. The capsules themselves start to get brittle around year 5.

Q. Is it safe also for pregnant or nursing women?

A. Eat Anything Rx does not have any ingredients that would be a contraindication to pregnancy but we always recommend that women speak with their health care professional before starting a new product when pregnant or nursing.
It is a full-spectrum digestive aid dietary supplement.

Q. How many grams of fructose is converted to glucose for each gram of xylose?

A. We have no exact numbers but each capsule, which contains 30mg of the Xylose Isomerase enzyme along with the other powerful digestive enzymes, can help a person digest 10-20g of fructose depending on their level of sensitivity and health of their digestive system.

Everyone's experience will be different based on those two things but we would recommend starting taking one capsule to see if you are getting the relief you need. Increase to 2-3 capsules for a meal that contains excess fructose but for most consumers, one capsule before meals helps improve digestion and limit discomfort.

Q. What are the inactive ingredients?

A. The Inactive ingredients are vegetable cellulose, magnesium stearate, and silica.

Q. What are the ingredients?

A. Xylose Isomerase, Alpha-Galactosidase, Lacto-Wise, APLC Digestive Enzyme, Vegetable Cellulose, Magnesium stearate, Silica

Q. Who can benefit from this product?

A. People with digestive problems and those with fructose mal-absorption.

Q. Will enzyme supplementation cause that initial weight gain?

A: There are no ingredients in Eat Anything Rx that will cause weight gain. The main purpose of this product is to breakdown all foods with enzymes that allow the body to absorb and utilize all the energy and nutrients of the food we consume. Weight gain could be because now the body is able to process the total caloric intake of the foods we normally eat without it passing directly through us. It means the product is working well at breaking down the food and allowing all nutrients and calories to be properly absorbed.

Q. Does this have enterococcus in it?

A. No. There is no Enterococcus in Eat Anything Rx.

Q. Does it work for lactose or casein intolerance/allergies?

A. Eat Anything Rx would help in breaking down the sugars, proteins, and amino acids found in Milk. If you are highly allergic to milk, I would not recommend trying it. But if you just have irritated bowels after consuming milk products, Eat Anything Rx has the enzymes needed to break down the irritants and allow the body to absorb the food properly.

Q. How does a person know if they can’t digest or break down certain foods because of lack of enzymes?

A. Some of the most common symptoms are abdominal pain, diarrhea or constipation, a feeling of bloatedness, and so on. This happens especially when you eat certain trigger foods. We recommend you consult with your health care provider to help you discover these trigger foods or the symptoms you are having.

Q. Is Eat Anything Rx good for Small intestine bacterial overgrowth (SIBO)?

A. SIBO occurs when there is an abnormal increase in the overall bacterial population in the small intestine — particularly types of bacteria not commonly found in that part of the digestive tract.

Taking a daily probiotic can help maintain proper balance in gut bacteria and microbiome. There are better, more targeted products that would benefit SIBO. The Eat Anything Rx product is targeted at helping people who cannot digest or breakdown certain foods because of lack of enzymes or healthy bacteria. It does contain a small dose of Probiotics but if diagnosed with SIBO we recommend working with your health care professionals to kill harmful/foreign bacteria and take larger doses of probiotics to allow the digestive system to recover its proper balance.

Q. What type of Probiotic is in the enzyme?

A. Lacto-Wise® from Sabinsa is the main probiotic, prebiotic component of Eat Anything Rx. It is a shelf-stable Probiotic and Natural Soluble Fiber (Prebiotic). It provides beneficial human intestinal microorganisms and a source of dietary fiber for promoting gastrointestinal health. GRAS affirmed Probiotic LactoSpore®* (Bacillus coagulans/Lactobacillus sporogenes) is combined with prebiotic Fenumannan®* (galactomannans from Fenugreek seeds) LactoSpore® is a Gram positive, rod shaped, room temperature stable, spore-forming bacteria producing only the desirable L (+) lactic acid. Fenumannan® is the soluble fiber fraction from the dietary fiber component of Fenugreek seeds (Trigonella foenum-graecum L.) FenuFibers

Potential Benefits:
-Supports normal digestive health, and general health and wellness.
-Supports normal mucosal barrier function.
-Supports the growth of beneficial bacteria and reduction of pathogenic bacterial subpopulations, in the gastrointestinal tract.
-Supports the formation of SCFAs (Short chain fatty acids), the major energy source for epithelial cells in the large intestine. SCFAs were shown to support the management of inflammation in the colon.
-Supports regularity and the elimination of toxic waste
-Supports healthy immune functions

Believe it or not there are people who get these symptoms from lots of foods that are healthy. Apples are one of the worst offenders believe it or not. So getting the right enzymes, prebiotics and probiotics works wonders for a lot of people.

Q. Is this appropiate for someone who had colon cancer and is now recovering?

A. Eat Anything Rx is a proprietary blend of prebiotics, probiotics, and enzymes that help people with difficulty breaking down fructose, carbohydrates, fats, and fiber. It will help your gut microbiome balance and improve the digestion of the foods you consume. It will help you in your recovery and establishing a healthy digestive system.

Q. I am fructose intolerant and started taking Eat Anything Rx and they worked fairly well, but the last bottles don't seem to help much at all. What could have gone wrong?

A. You might be consuming more fructose than you were previously because of the success you had with Eat Anything Rx. Because you were now able to eat some fructose without major discomfort, you begin to add more without increasing dosage.

Each capsule contains 30mg of Xylose Isomerase (the enzyme required to convert fructose into glucose). This dose should help a person digest approx. 20g of fructose. If a person eats more, they will need to take more.

If you are very sensitive to fructose, take Eat Anything Rx 15 minutes before eating and base the dose on the amount of fructose in the meal. A person could take up to 10 capsules without any issue if they were going to eat 200g of Fructose.

There has not been a change to the formulation. Because the active ingredients are enzymatic, a person will not build up a tolerance to them. They just provide the chemical enzyme the body requires to breakdown the Fructose.

We recommend to take it on a routine schedule. If taken routinely, the probiotics will improve the gut microbiome and help resolve many digestive issues.

Q. What does it mean you can eat anything?

A. While the name is a little tongue-in-cheek, it is also serious as the product contains a comprehensive array of digestive enzymes that help break down proteins, starch, cellulose, lactose, fructose, and more!

A lot of people have digestive issues with particular macronutrients- they feel sick to their stomach after eating specific foods such as milk, apples, bread, onions, etc. This is often because their body does not produce enough enzymes to break these down.

So this product is designed to eliminate that post-food discomfort- allowing people to "eat anything" without having pain afterward. :)

Q. Where do the enzymes in Eat Anything Rx come from?

A. Some of the enzymes are extracted from plants and some are derived from fungal fermentation processes. All of them are vegetarian.

Q. How many enzyme activity units of each enzyme is in Eat Anything Rx?

A. 160 GaIU/Capsule from the Alpha-Galactosidase
300 U/Capsule from the Xylose Isomerase
330 SKB/Capsule from the Amylase
4950 HUT/Capsule from the Protease
470 CU/Capsule from the Cellulase
120 FIP/Capsule from the Lipase

Q. Why take Eat Anything Rx 20 minutes before eating?

A. The recommendation of 20 minutes before a meal is based on the research done by the digestive enzymes manufacturers. They have found the enzymes provide the most benefit if present in the digestive system before the food. It also helps to have the additional water present from swallowing the capsule as this can help breakdown food as well.
